changing seasons

Well here comes the rain, the fall and warmer layers.  Little kids in rain boots and reminders that we are in a season of change.  I love fall.  It is a season of crock-pot cooking, leaves falling and grey days.  It also means hat weather, which is a good excuse when you roll out of bed and just run your fingers through your hair.  I have come to love the Pacific Northwest for it’s fall and winters, usually…not always but certainly more so than the freezing winters of South Dakota.

So take it all in; the smells, the colors, the dancing leaves waving ado to the sky, changing into wool socks, apple cider and the beginning of a reason to stay in and take time for yourself.  Make your space cozy and comforting, have dinner parties and I hope you all a lovely fall.
