Happy New Year!!!
This year has been so crazy and full of life lessons. My year in review is much different than last year. After some major life changes I quit my jobs and decided to start traveling. It was the smartest thing I have ever done. Inspite of a few wrong choices here and there I have gotten to know myself a little more than before. I know now to listen to my heart (metephorically speaking), I know that I have been blessed and because I lack the mothering gene…I can travel with no strings attached.
It doesn’t mean I don’t want to settle down and have a place to call home but it means my desire to see more of the world and have random adventures, meet new people and be sporadic are at the top of my life goals. January 1st I spent the day at the beach in Nicaragua floating in clear water and thought…I am here. Of my own doing. Broke and alone but finding the silver linings in every day and every adventure. I have met so many new friends and said yes to random day trips to push past the comfort zone I have built for myself. It has brought me to some beautiful places and left me with amazing memories.
New year means new goals and aspirations. For me it means new dreams of more places to see. Longer adventures and more wandering encounters. Many people explore for pleasure I explore because I am curious. So happy new year to you all. Go forth, be kind and be curious…explore and make friends with fellow wanders because you never know who you might meet.
